Bomb Found Addressed to Governor Roosevelt in New York
A dynamite bomb in a package addressed to Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt was found yesterday in the central post office at Thirty third Street and Eighth Avenue. A porter stepped on the parcel and broke the fuse, revealing a four inch iron pipe filled with dynamite and packed with wax matches and sandpaper. Police said the device had no firing mechanism and would not have exploded.
