Night Flood Car Sinks After Sinkhole Closes Road
Dennis Redmon of Plymouth describes a night flood on Limit Street extension that washed away pavement and a car into fast water. In the sinking car, Redmon and his family escaped through windows while Alvin and another man guided the two children to higher ground. The car drifted downstream, snagging in trees about 200 yards from the collapse, as the two women reached safety downstream.
