Groundbreaking Ceremony for Mount Dora Bank Building
First National Bank of Mount Dora began construction on a new 29,400 square foot building at the northeast corner site. Bank President George J. White Sr. and Al Rehbaum Sr. turned the first shovels with city officials and directors present. Construction by Greger Jones is expected to take about 130 days with operations to move from the old site to Fourth and Donnelly in early 1965. The project costs are about 250000 dollars.
