Mount Dora Band Boosters sponsor the event at Donnelly Park to honor the Mount Dora High School band which will perform a concert after the parade. Concession booths and games are planned.

The Mount Dora Lions Club received its charter in 1938 and held its first meeting at the Lakeside Inn. Key members included Al Rehbaum Jr Cecil Bowie and Otis Hale. East Town Residents Seek Sewer, Building Code Enforcement
A large East Town delegation urged the City Council to approve stage two of the sewer project and to enforce building and housing codes. They asked for more easements to open streets, police patrols, and emergency abatements for condemned and dilapidated properties. The First National Bank of Mount Dora marks its 41st year starting Monday after closing Sunday. Founded in 1925 and chartered in 1926, the bank moved to Seventh and Donnelly this year and began trust operations under President George J.
