Finish Will Be Said Today
Sometime Thursday afternoon, Sam Shepherd, Walter Irvin and Charles Greenlee will stand before Circuit Judge Truman G. Futch to learn their sentences for raping a 17 year old Bay Lake bride last July. Irvin and Shepherd face the electric chair. Greenlee, 16, will serve life imprisonment. Judge Futch denied motions for a new trial for the first two, and defense claims of beaten testimony were discussed. The jury, which found them guilty in two hours, spared Greenlee the full penalty due to age.

Rules require at least five unit motels with 400 sq ft each and concrete showers and toilets for each trailer. Councilman Marshall Collins says a Chicago firm has been approached to plan the camp, and sites span Camp Street to the overpass and east on Camp.
