He is chief of plans and special projects in the directorate of information at Tan Son Nhut, Vietnam, and holds degrees from Parsons College, the University of Illinois, and George Washington University. He and his wife Carol have three children.
Voters in Mount Dora decide party nominations on Tuesday with eight Democratic posts and seven Republican posts up for grabs. Pamela B. Ray a Democratic State Committeewoman candidate from Lake County appears on the ballot. Polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sample ballots are on page six.
The Vocational Education Program at Mount Dora High School faces budget cuts for the upcoming year and lacks funds to maintain a full program. It asks the Mount Dora community to donate tools and materials for students to continue practical work and learning.
