Lake Dora Memories and Florida Conventions
A personal column recounts a week away and returning home to Lake Dora. The writer notes Chester and pride in Chris Kanar Laffin’s election as 7th District Vice President of the Florida Association of Realtors, mentions other locals at the fall convention in Hollywood, and describes a Mira mar High School Band performance with 1776 costumes. The trip includes visits to Palm Beach and Henry Flagler’s palace, plus observations from Miami Beach and Bal Harbour Mall on fashion trends. They also wish Lt. Col. Anton Jed Jedlicka a belated birthday and share neighbor news about the Browers’ travels and upcoming trips.
