Next week the Fourth Annual Dora Invitational schedules 160 entries for Mount Dora. Players chase $3000 in prizes while organizers forecast activity and spectators wonder which clubs may end up around trees by Monday morning.
First place winners displayed their winning posters last week. The exhibiting students include Lynn Geddes seventh grade and David Geddes sixth grade with Dallas Dunnagan fifth grade. Second place went to Sloan Dunnagan Kimberly Wood Marilyn Molnar and Lara Hall. Third place ribbons were awarded to Joe Folsom Jerry Lynn DeHoag and Donna Barrier.
About 160 golfers entered the Fourth Annual Dora Invitational with entries from Jacksonville to Miami. The event offers a total of 3000 in prizes with 200 for the overall champion and 125 for the runner up, plus trophies. Eight players compete in each of twenty flights over the three days. Scores will be posted daily.
