Edmund A Chester Dies at 75 Former AP Reporter and CBS Executive
Edmund A Chester, a former Associated Press correspondent and CBS executive, confidant of Cuba's Batista, died Sunday at 75. Born June 22, 1897, in Louisville, he served in the Army before WWI and was an Aide to the National Commander of the American Legion in 1923. He lived on Old Highway 441 South in Mount Dora.
