Tropical Topics and Local Oddities in Mount Plymouth
A locals column recounts a fire scene chat with Kiwanis leader Jack Groves and a joke about an unfilled fire extinguisher. It mentions quirky tales about cats in captivity, a ramie company start in muck lands, a giant eight pound potato shared among neighbors, a dead cow attracting fishermen on Lake Dora, and Florida reporting that thirteen million type A school lunches were served to schoolchildren last year.
