William M. Wells, 27, of Winter Garden, will become secretary of the Dora Chamber of Commerce on December 1, replacing Robert Hess. Wells leaves the Winter Garden Chamber after serving as editor of the Avon Park Sun and four years in the Army Air Forces. He married Irol Beck of Lake Alfred, now a commercial subjects teacher in Avon Park High School. Hess departs Mount Dora after a brief stay to become executive secretary of the Fort Lauderdale Chamber.
