Snake Bite Victim In Stable Condition At Local Hospital
A Mount Doraman reported in good condition Wednesday morning at Waterman Memorial Hospital after treatment for a coral snake bite. Jesse J. Allen of 1132 First Ave was bitten about 10 a.m. Tuesday. Anti-venom serum was rushed by the Florida Highway Patrol from the Ross Allen Institute at Silver Springs.

The First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora forms with 18 charter members on May 16 1954 and grows to about 200 members by 1964. The church begins in 1953 1954 at The Castle and purchases Whiting property, dedicates a brick colonial building by 1961, and features a 72 foot octagonal steeple, stained glass, and a carillon gift in memory of Mrs A V Martin.
