Birds Return Slower Than Usual For November
In this note on migrations the author contrasts a quiet bird year with 1970 and 1972. A lone robin, white throated sparrows, blue gray gnatcatchers and an oven bird are sighted. The Oklawaha Valley Audubon chapter held a field trip at Duda’s Farms, recording 63 species and a bald eagle among flooded wetlands.
