Amelia Pratt Dies Final Rites Held

Funeral services for Amelia H. Pratt 64 were held at Rehbaum Chapel with the Rev. William T. Blair officiating. Eastern Star rites followed. Interment at Pine Forest Cemetery. She lived in Mount Dora six years after moving from Springfield Massachusetts and was active in church and local arts groups. Survived by husband John D, mother Sophia Metz, and sister Julia Lamaur.

Lions Club Donates to Youth Project and Community Groups

Mount Dora Lions Club approved funds at the board meeting including 100 for air conditioning at the Hurricane Hut 25 for the Halloween dance orchestra 100 for a Mount Dora Girl Scouts float 28 for Christmas for disadvantaged youths under Lake County Juvenile Court and noted the Florida Foundation for the Blind drive total of 1146.
