After a successful winter of good works the Tangerine Garden Club will discontinue regular meetings until fall. Members will stay in touch via summer morning bridge parties. Last week Mrs. Cecil Bothwell hosted a three-table event with Mrs. E C Horn in charge of arrangements.
The first Lake Sumter Junior College commencement will be held in the Leesburg High School auditorium on Friday June 5 at 8 p m. Doyle Conner Florida's commissioner of agriculture will deliver the address. The Lake County Duplicate Bridge Club and Umatilla club sponsor a one session charity game for masterpoint points at the Umatilla Community Building on Saturday June 13. Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society and United Cerebral Palsy Association. entry is $1 with refreshments. Winners at Lake County club on Monday were in seven table Mitchell movement with top pairs in each direction.
