City Clerk Carl Fowler Dies After Illness in Mount Dora
William Carl Fowler age 69 died May 13 at Waterman Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He served as City Clerk and Treasurer of Mount Dora and lived at 1021 Helen St. He was born June 6, 1906 in Bowdon Georgia. Surviving are his widow Geraldine and two sons Jeffrey and William Jr. The funeral was held Saturday at Rehbaum Harden Chapel with burial in Pine Forest Cemetery.
