Mrs. V L Conner Elected To National Garden Club Post
Mrs. V L Conner of Mount Dora is set to be elected first vice president of the National Council of State Garden Clubs at the national convention in Seattle. A charter Lakes and Hills Garden Club member, she has risen from district director in 1952 54 to state president of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs 1957 59, later directing HQ investigations and helping secure land for state headquarters. Florida’s headquarters project and Endowment Fund growth mark her long service in garden clubs.
