Shotgun Blast Injures Two Boys in Mount Dora
In Mount Dora on a quiet Sunday afternoon a 12 gauge shotgun injures Ronald Garrett eight and Bruce Garrett seven, fired by 75 year old Robert Floyd after he warned them to stop teasing him. Both children are listed in satisfactory condition at Winter Park Hospital. Floyd has been arrested by Lake County authorities and charged with intent to commit a felony.

Defensive Driving Classes Begin in Mount Dora Friday
Mount Dora residents may start four weekly defensive driving classes led by Patrolman Winston Tate with assistance from Don Taylor. Auto Pole Crash Knocks Out City Power
A 1960 Oldsmobile collided with a city power pole at Helen Street and 11th Avenue, cutting power to parts of Mount Dora Sunday evening. The accident caused about 300 dollars damage to the car and 112 dollars to the pole. it occurred at 8 20 p m as Louis Hall lost control while driving west. Police investigators from Mount Dora Police Dept. reviewed the scene.

City Clerk Bill Passes Florida House
