Mrs. Mary Alvord of Fairfield Connecticut died at her home Sunday April 27 at age 98. She is survived by her son J J Alvord of Green Farms and Mount Dora and by a granddaughter Mrs Everett L Tarlton and a great grandson Ellis Alvord Tarlton. Funeral was held from her Fairfield home on Tuesday April 29.

County committees announce a Thursday May 15 frolic at Eustis to raise 3500 for the Eustis Boys championship band to compete in Flint Michigan May 22 24.
