State Encampment Spanish War Vets To Be Held Here
Mount Dora will host the 33rd Encampment of the Department of Florida Spanish War Veterans from May 9 to 12. Plans call for headquarters at Lake Eustis Inn and Mount Dora Hotel with meetings in the Community Auditorium. Memorial service May 9 and a joint session May 10 are open to the public as Patton aims for 150 to 200 delegates from 35 camps.

Osborns on Speaking Tour After China Missionary Work
Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Osborn, wintering at 229 Sixth Avenue, tour Miami and St. Petersburg for speaking engagements. The Mount Dora Red Cross War Relief and Membership Drive reports over $1 600 raised toward a $2 125 quota by noon Wednesday.
