Lakes and Hills Garden club hosts a mock garden wedding at the Heist estate on Lake Victoria starting 2 p.m. Tickets available via Chamber of Commerce or club members. The event features models from Lake Jem to Howey with a New York makeup artist and a tropical altar set on the Heist lawn. Proceeds fund the planned Garden Center atop Lake Dora’s cove.

Ted Shawn, renowned dancer, will star as Death in Death Takes a Holiday with the Berkshire Players of Stockbridge Massachusetts. The Mount Dora IceHouse Players previously staged Shawn in the role to strong crowds, marking his vocal dramatic debut after a six night run.
