Sanford Yacht Club regatta highlights Mount Dora boats
George Malone of Mount Dora piloted Baby Subdivision to a decisive win in the 725 cubic inch displacement and the free for all at the Sanford Yacht Club regatta. Miss Lake Jem, also from Mount Dora, finished second in two heats while Smiling Dan III by Richard Laynes led the five mile 151 class and set near record pace. The event drew spectators and featured multiple classes on Lake Monroe with heavy weather affecting times.
