America's Ace of magic L Raymond Cox returns March 8 at the Mount Dora Tourist Club with the Murray Twin Sisters and a new Illusion show. The act features a dove circus, trained birds, Mexican aerials, and elaborate stage effects costing over ten thousand dollars. Mrs Laney the director and Miss Cassady received compliments for the success along with the senior class members. Mount Dora Bowling Team Tops New Smyrna In Local Meet

Mount Dora bowlers defeated New Smyrna 77 to 57 on Tuesday with Mount Dora taking two games and tying one. Individual matches included Thomas, Downes, Cary and Go beating Munson, Hooze, Brunson and Moore 19 to 7 and a 18-18 tie between Skip Spra gue and New Smyrna players. The club singles saw Mr Thomas defeat Dr Downes 21 to 14 in the Monday match attended by many fans.

The Aetna Safety Special driving tests toured Mount Dora with replicates of the testing machines being added to Munich's Germanic Museum. Only three American items among 70,000 exhibits prior. Wrights flying machine, Edison's phonograph and incandescent bulb. The Safety Special tours the state before heading north and then across the continent.
