Tax help for residents to file homestead exemptions

Beginning March 1 a Lake County Tax Assessor representative will visit towns to assist filing homestead exemption widow and disability exemptions and tangible and intangible personal property tax returns for 1967. Nine thousand nine hundred ninety two applications received by Feb 21 with over fourteen thousand expected. forms must be filed before April first to avoid penalties.
