Pythian Picnic Pleasures Endorse Lake Ola Outing
The Mount Dora Knights of Pythias and the Pythian Sisters held a picnic at Lake Ola replacing Trimble Park. About seventy five members families and friends enjoyed chicken pileau salads cakes and home crafted items with lively storytelling and recipes exchanged by the Giz zards led by Dr Fenn. The event ended around eight with praise for being the best outing in many moons.

State C of C Body Endorses Soldiers Home For Florida
The Florida State Chamber of Commerce board meeting in Gainesville endorsed placing the National Soldiers Home in Florida under Fletcher-Green bill. It plans to organize Florida forces on cooperative lines and form a Florida section of the Southeastern Council. The aviation program and publicity plan were approved, newspapers earned complimentary membership, and appreciation was given to the Florida congressional delegation.
