Frank S. Battle dies after stroke in Wauchula
Frank Spencer Battle born 1856 in Virginia died Monday in Wauchula after a stroke. He lived much of his life in Georgia and Florida and managed the Battle Lumber Co. in Titusville Plant City and Sorrento. Funeral was held in Wauchula Tuesday. Survived by daughter Annie Walker son Frank S. Battle wife, sisters Mrs. Johnson Mrs. Wynne brother Rabin Battle and several grandchildren. Word came also of Mrs Henry Reeve's death in Lynbrook New York, a founder of Sorrento and former teacher and church organist.
