Two Local Youths In Eustis Hospital After Car Hits Pole
Mount Dora youths Christopher Dodds and Eric Ormesher remain in Waterman Memorial Hospital after a sports car struck a utility pole on Morningside Drive Sunday night. Ormesher suffers pelvis and collar bone fractures and a mild concussion. Dodds has a fractured skull and concussion. The 1958 MG was traveling toward US 441 at high speed when it left the road at an S curve, slid 110 feet, and demolished the car. Ormesher was extricated by bystanders. Dodds was cited for driving.
