Youth Center in Mount Dora Seeks funds for a permanent home
Mount Dora youths move from the old ice house to Gilbert park quarters as they await a larger bank balance. Donations from Kiwanis Lions and the Chamber of Commerce bolster a $238.80 shortfall toward a real Youth Center, after earning funds from Tag Day dances, memberships, Regatta concessions, a dance recital and other events. The group hopes for more support next year to build a permanent, closer home.
