Court revokes Jacksonville broker license in real estate case
Jacksonville broker S. S. Pratt had his real estate license revoked and was permanently enjoined from practicing in Florida after the Ortega land sale scheme. The court found Pratt used fictitious sales to profit at Norman Newkirk of Buffalo New York, collecting 725 dollars while not paying the seller. Walter W. Rose, commission chairman, cited similar prosecutions by the Florida Real Estate Commission.
