Mount Dora Narrowly Loses to Ocoee 3 2

Mount Dora’s hopes slipped as Ocoee edged the Mountaineers 3 to 2. Key errors in the early frames and a late inning double by Phillips doomed Mount Dora, while Wyndham drew attention for his on field antics. Phillips also delivered a triple that fueled the late rally.

The notes recount Carl Rodenbaugh of Winter Park hitting a sharp triple against Mount Dora, then Pennington using the hidden ball trick on Carlos causing Carl mortified. It also covers Chester Phillips tripling in seventh at Ocoee, cheering from locals, and Danny Vaden forcing Phillips out at home.
