Substitutes Shine in Lawn T Poised for Potluck Recall
A note of appreciation to Dave and Lex for superb pinch-hitting. Memorial Day Potluck drew a large crowd, with Mary Garrison as chair and Carver's Nursery supplying hibiscus decorations. Post-prandial bowling filled seven rinks as oldtimers hear news of Donald Belford's death in St. Petersburg at 64 and Fred Wheeler turning 96. Others share travel notes and greetings from North Carolina, New Jersey, and California, while lighting progress for the upper ranks stirs anticipation of the season’s climax.
