Doctors Attend Conventions In Florida And Beyond
Drs. E. C. Devorsak and Milded Marsh spent Sunday in Jacksonville for the State Chiropractors convention at the Seminole hotel. Dr. Marsh heads to Palm Beach for the Swedish Massage Association’s first official meeting, then to Cleveland for ten days before returning to Mount Dora. Dr. Devorsak leaves on June 20 for Bridgeport, Conn., for the summer.

Mary Woodruff Simpson 99 Remembered as Mount Dora Pioneer
Friends gathered at First Baptist Church and Forest Cemetery to honor Mary Woodruff Simpson known as Mother Simpson. The Mount Dora resident, widow of David M. Simpson, died June 2 at her daughter’s home after a long illness. The service was led by Rev. A A. Stanley with Delphia Norman singing Abide with Me. She leaves five daughters two sons sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
