Purchases New Home in Lake Franklin Park

G. R. LaBreck a prominent local businessman bought a Spanish style bungalow in Lake Franklin Park from George Malone of Malone Realty. The house is not yet finished and should be ready in about thirty days. LaBreck plans to move with his family after completion. He cited Lake Franklin Park’s appeal as the reason for his purchase. The home is the first on the left on Sanford Road.

Tavares Girl Dies After Auto Crash Near Textile City

A car driven by Ralph Diehl of Tavares collided head on with a motor truck on the DeLand Daytona Beach road near Textile City early Monday. Miss Mary Norman of Mount Dora died five hours later at Daytona Beach hospital. Miss Margie Morris and W C Saunders of Tavares and Mrs Maggie Barfield were injured. The party had been returning from Daytona Beach.
