Florida Citrus Mutual Forecasts Bigger Orange Crops By 1970
John Likes surveys optimistic Florida orange outlook. Bob Rutledge predicts the 1969 70 crop could reach 122 to 130 million boxes with weather and conditions. He projects U S population growth to 210 million and per capita orange consumption rising from 67 to 72 pounds by 1970, aided by aggressive merchandising and research.
