Doctor Quixley Plans Move from Mount Dora to Ocala

Dr. C L Quixley declared he will move his medical practice to Ocala around August first. Mrs Quixley and son Alan will travel to Bradley Beach for the summer before joining him in Ocala. He will close his Mount Dora office Saturday and begin moving equipment. The family has been active in the local community, and he hopes to return for limited periods this winter to serve former patients here.

Major Charles L. Marsh reports an immense water moccasin near his Lake Beauclaire estate. He shot it at his boat house and killed twenty eight snakes in one blast. The serpent yielded twenty seven eggs and a large perch when opened.

George J White reports the accidental gunshot death of Harry Mallory in Conn eact Ohio. Mallory was a longtime Mount Dora community figure, director of the First National Bank and active in the Chamber of Commerce Yacht Club Lake County Country Club and other groups. He owned a dairy farm in West Springfield Pennsylvania and a summer camp at Topinabee Michigan. He was about 64.
