Alligator Attacks Again At Lake Gertrude Site
After an alligator killed a white dog nearby, another gator attacked a small black dog on Lake Gertrude's northeast shore. Mrs. Dot Harmon found a dog’s outline and torn grass near her dock while the owner, Mr. L. S. Porter, was away. The gator has not been seen since the incident.

Donnelly Homestead Added to National Register in Mount Dora
The J. P. Donnelly homestead on Donnelly Street Mount Dora has been listed on the National Register protecting it from demolition without federal approval. A dedication will be held next Thursday at 3 p m with Dr Jerrell Shorner attending. The 1893 house was built by Mount Dora’s early promoter and first mayor and later housed by F and AM Lodge No 238.
