Association Meeting in Leesburg Sets 1977 Installations
The Association of Re- Persons Chapter 385 holds its regular meeting Saturday January 22 at 2 p.m. in the Woman's Club Building Leesburg with installation of officers for 1977 and a talk by Larry Jt on AARP Its Past and Its Future. Light refreshments follow and national members are welcome. The Lake County Gem and Mineral Society meets at 2 p.m. in the Bank of Mount Dora the same day with a Rock Swap program open to the public.

Plans for the Friday evening second Albert Crone Interscholastic Play Festival are set at the IceHouse Theatre Mount Dora with three Lake County entrants Groveland High Howey Academy and Mount Dora High School The adjudicator is Steve Nielsen from Rollins College A trophy and two $100 scholarships will be awarded The event features three plays and two short farces performed by 12 26 and 6 cast members Admission is 1 00 and doors open at 6 30 p m for a 7 p m start with box office and program duties handled by IceHouse officials.
