The Little Theatre of Orlando, an arts oriented group of clergy, professionals, teachers, and students, announced plans to perform for the Tourist Club. The ensemble features a strong cast and will tour Orlando, Eustis, and other communities after a January 25 show. The group stages four major three act plays per season plus many one act works. Members can serve as directors, stage crew, or writers, with an annual competition awarding a prize for the best member written play.

Yacht Club Hosts Sunday Motor and Sailing Races
Mount Dora Yacht Club held triangular one mile per leg races for outboard motor boats and sailing yachts. Five motor boats competed with D Edgerton winning in 14 minutes 48 seconds. Poise led the sail fleet, finishing at 3:52.35 after using a spinnaker in light winds.

One Day Silver Springs Boat Trip Planned

Unusual Accident Involving Judge Miller At Grand View Inn
Saturday afternoon a coupe driven by Judge W. E. Miller went out of control at U S Highway 441. It crashed through a steel guard fence, uprooted posts, and plunged down a 15 foot embankment onto railroad cross ties without overturning. Train passed by during recovery, passengers unharmed. Front wheels and axle damaged but car repairable. No windows broken.

Constable Cooper Captures Robbery Suspects Near Pistolville
Constable Cooper captured three robbery suspects Monday in the Pistolville area near the crate mill. The men identified as Herman Goney Hobart Goney and Charlie Caldwell were connected to post office and store robberies in Grimsby Tennessee. Ed Goney, a youth, is believed to have accompanied them. The trio were jailed in Tavares until a Federal officer moved them to Orlando on Wednesday.
