Navy names Mount Dora pastor as chaplain
M J Bouterse II, pastor of the Carlisle Baptist Church in Kentucky and former Mount Dora schools student, has been accepted as a U S Navy chaplain and ordered to report to the Great Lakes Naval Training Station in Chicago. He is a Stetson graduate with seminary training and a Th D degree from Southern Baptist Seminary Louisville.

The President issued proclamations from December 7 and 8 1941 restricting alien enemies from possessing radio and camera equipment. Attorney General directs state and local police to assist by collecting prohibited cameras at police stations or other convenient places. Mount Dora Chief W L Story received a copy of the letter and will cooperate.
