Beloved Mount Dora Resident Dies at 92
Mrs. Mary Ann Parfitt aged 92 died Friday evening February 21 at 7:30 at her daughter’s home in Mount Dora after a brief illness. A native of England born January 29 1844 she came to the United States in 1868 and lived near Brooklyn before moving to Mount Dora in 1924. Survived by seven children three grandchildren and three great grandchildren sisters in Wales and Wiltshire England, funeral held Monday at the Mount Dora home conducted by Rev. Perry James. Burial planned in Bridgehampton New York after Easter beside her husband.
