Leesburg Man Attends Civilian Defense School
R L Stevens of Leesburg and Lee Supply and Fire vision of the Lake County Selene Council was chosen to attend the Civilian Defense School at Texas A and M College Houston. Inclement weather and other National Defense projects kept Mount Dora Lions Club attendance under fifty percent for the first time in months. Lion President Ray Peters of Wallonia Lions Club greeted the local group, with transfers approved for J. O. Hall and L. C. Douglas to new Lions clubs in Tallahassee and Leesburg.
