Time capsule burial marks climax of Bicentennial Day
Mount Dora celebrated Bicentennial Day with Lincoln’s Birthday and the city’s name anniversary. A one ton Spirit of 76 time capsule was buried in Donnelly Park as the centerpiece of day long events. Florida Lt. Gov. Jim Williams dedicated the capsule which won’t be opened for 100 years.
