Hugo Washington's Birthday Festival in Eustis on February 22 features a monster parade with bands an artistic baby parade comic sections and carnival booths run by local civic clubs. After rough seas until Saturday they went 20 miles out in Brown s boat for seven hours and brought home 19 kingfish weighing 175 pounds among other species. Riley and Scott fished deep sea for the first time and the kingfish kept fighting after being hooked as the crew wore out.

Town Council Purchases Ford Sedan for Police Use

At the Tuesday meeting the Town Council ordered a Ford two door sedan for Police Department use and required officers to wear standard caps for visibility and authority. Evansville Family Finds Safety With Rietzs Amid Floods

Mr and Mrs Werner A Siems and their four children from Evansville Indiana arrived at Dr and Mrs A R Rietzs Lake Franklin Park home after marooning floods.
