Conner Family forges business ties from Lynchburg to Florida
Jessie and Vernon Conner, natives of Virginia, built a brokerage and wholesale distribution business in Lynchburg through Conner Produce Co. They befriended citrus growers, earned pilot licenses, and retired to Florida in 1941 living at High Acres on Lake Carlton before building a home at Tropical Point near Lake Jem in 1952.
