P.T.A. Discuss Use Of Leisure Time

The regular monthly P T A meeting at the Community Building drew a strong crowd. Miss Margaret Lewis spoke on Books and Their Use as Part of Leisure Time and Mrs Bfrkart commented on Books and Leisure Time. Plans for radio use of leisure time were noted for March. Mrs Williams announced classes to be conducted by her. Attendance prizes went to the fifth and eighth grades with 46 and 43 percent respectively.

Lectures on Russia by Dr Brewer Eddy at Community Church

Dr Brewer Eddy, renowned Russia expert back from the country, will lecture Friday at eight o'clock in the Community church. The talk will feature newly taken moving pictures on Russia's inner workings and government forms. Admission is charged. Butter and cheese prices in 1935 reached the month's highest since 1929 per the Bureau of Agricultural Economics.

Miss Amny Rutz, who played Mary in Oberammergau’s Passion Play, will lecture Saturday February 8 at 8 p m in the Community Building. The illustrated talk, in English with lantern slides, offers behind the scenes details and Bavarian costume. Dr. Lambert to Preach Sunday at Baptist Church Mount Dora

Dr. Lambert and Mrs. W R Lambert of Louisville Kentucky formerly of Mount Dora are visiting and he will preach Sunday morning and evening at the First Baptist Church. He previously served as pastor here for two years before moving to Louisville. Mrs Lambert led Sunday School enlargement and young people’s work in Florida. They camp in Mount Dora for a few days and are warmly welcomed.

C of C Seeks 200 Members in Annual Drive

Missionary Dr McKendreeringer Speech at Methodist Church
