Mount Dora Bowling Club Reports Mixed Social and Invitational Wins

A letter titled Just a Lousy Bowler reflects the tone of fellow bowlers as Mount Dora bowling posted a 5-3 social win over DeLand. Evan Fell Harold Peterson and George Caldwell took third at the Peabody Invitational while Marion Walker Ray Ward and Ted Foley swept the Orlando Invitational. Marion Gray Scotty Downs led doubles with 57 points, Vince Burlingame and Marion Weidenhamer tied for a late win. Mixed doubles tie and final victory showcased the club’s rising skill.
