Naval Graduates Shipes and Mosteller Report for Further Training
William Thomas Shipes received a December 21 graduation at the Naval Air Training Center in Corpus Christi Texas and was commissioned an ensign in the U S Naval Reserves. He completed preliminary flight training at Norman Oklahoma and will report to Fort Lauderdale for additional instruction. Paul Clifford Mosteller graduates from the Aviation Radio School at Jacksonville Florida and is promoted to Seaman First Class after enlisting June 19 1943. He trained at Jacksonville and is now a qualified radioman starting gunnery training at the Naval Air Gunnery School.
