The Mount Dora Art Festival Committee has received more than 300 entries for the February 5 and 6, 1977 show in downtown Mount Dora. Artists submitted samples across paintings graphics crafts photography and sculpture and will be juried on December 19 to determine selection. Mount Dora Sets Two Public Hearings on Block Grant
Mount Dora will hold two public hearings next week at 7 30 p m to gather citizen input for its Community Development Block Grant application. The Dec 20 session at city hall and the Dec 21 meeting at East Town Community Center will discuss renewing federal funds for street paving storm drainage sanitary sewers and housing rehabilitation. The plan must be submitted to the U S Department of Housing and Urban Development regional office in Jacksonville by Jan 17.
