The American Legion post held a large meeting in Community Hall with about forty attendees. Florida Chamber of Commerce Opposes State Bond Issuance
In West Palm Beach the Florida State Chamber of Commerce passed a resolution opposing any constitutional amendment permitting the state to issue bonds or incur indebtedness for purposes not provided in the present charter.
