The Mount Dora Town Council announced the final round of the paying program will begin in a few weeks with an approximate cost of 100000 to the city and abutting property owners. The project includes Donnelly Street to the city limits, Tavares Road to connect with Sylvan Shores paving, Grandview Street south to the city limits, and resurfacing Seminole Avenue from Grandview to Fifth, plus smaller items. First Arctic Dog Train Trip Delivers Joyful Return

McMurray Alta December 3 Star Special reports the safe arrival of Mr and Mrs Bland of Lake Jem in Florida from sub Arctic barrens via dog train led by Mickey Ryan and Jimmie Donovan. The party left Fitzgerald November 17 carrying mail and ample dog feed and faced harsh conditions and peril but completed the journey in record time. Ryan plans another run Saturday with three dog teams to Chipewyan Fitzgerald Fort Smith and points north to the Arctic.
